We have been creating resources and content for teachers for over a decade. Before deciding to embark on this membership journey, LaNesha was in the classroom for 15 years and Naomi was in the classroom for 10 years.

When we were in the classroom, we both had a special place in our hearts for social studies lessons. We admit we didn’t always make time for it or value it as much as we should, but once we decided to lead culture-centered classrooms, our lives and the lives of our students were forever changed.

We want to support and inspire you as you make social studies more of a priority in your classroom.

Through our resources and exclusive mini PDs, we hope to help you go into each social studies lesson you teach with confidence and excitement about the knowledge you will impart.

The Tabb + O’Brien Social Studies Club is a Netflix-style library of engaging social studies resources and videos to help guide you through each lesson.

Our goal is to help you feel prepared to bring these lessons into your classroom.

With a lot of talk about CRT swirling around, we want teachers to take a breath and realize that none of this is CRT. It’s just honest and accurate history and cultural lessons that will help you move your students one step closer to becoming informed citizens able to function in a culturally diverse society, with critical thinking skills and in-depth knowledge about the world around them.
